Dungeon quest XP from the Forever beta, extended to 60 and measured against the unchanged Classic XP curve (4,084,700 XP). It shows how much each stretch needs from open-world questing to fill the gap between dungeons. Kill XP inside dungeons is treated as zero. Open-world quests pay exactly their Classic XP, which was checked on four Crossroads turn-ins in the beta.
Each dungeon is run at the level shown. A quest whose minimum level is higher than that waits for a later visit, which is why a dungeon can show up twice. Open a dungeon to see its quests (* means projected from Classic rather than read from the beta). Each quest is tagged for a duo: one pickup means one of you takes it and shares it; shareable chain means every step can be shared, but you both still have to complete each step; both pick up and each loots the starter mean each of you goes to the giver or loots the item. Each dungeon also lists its pickup stops by town, with one or both of you needed at each. Prerequisite steps are marked so you can collect them on the way. Open a questing gap to see where the next dungeon's quests are picked up and the hubs chosen to fill it. Hubs near those pickups and the entrance come first, and far ones only when the nearby quests run out. Open a hub for its quest list. No quest is counted in more than one gap.
| Dungeon | Run at | Quest XP | Level after |

Quests with a Forever beta value use it as-is. Horde dungeons with beta data pay 3.0–4.4× Classic: RFC 3.2×, WC 3.0×, BFD 3.4×, RFK/Gnomer 3.8×, SFK 4.4×. Every quest from SM upward has only Classic data, so it's modeled at 3.0×. The 3.0× is conservative, since the trend rises with level.
Horde and both-faction quests only, each Scarlet Monastery and Dire Maul quest counted once, one class book per player. Onyxia/UBRS attunement, Valthalak, Quel'Serrar and Anthion chains are left out. Both of you get full quest XP, because quest XP isn't split.
Seven new dungeons from 24 up (Wetlands Excavation, Dalaran, Drowned City, Krol'dok, Alcaz, Blackmaw, Shaper's Terrace) have no quests in the beta client yet. "Beta + new dungeons" assumes each pays one full level at its entry level. Ruins paid 2.5 levels and Hall of Thanes about 1.2, so this assumption may be low.
Uses Classic's rule: full XP up to 5 levels over the quest, then 80/60/40/20/10%. The route turns quests in at run level, so the penalty barely applies. It matters if you overlevel a dungeon while questing between runs.
WCLBox quest tables from beta client data (build ~69913, late September 2026). Levels 20–30 are confirmed beta numbers; anything above the level-20 beta cap is projected.
Horde and Undead-eligible quests from QuestieDB's Forever data (beta build 1.60.1), paid at Classic XP. Class, profession, repeatable and item-started quests are excluded, and so are capital-city, raid-attunement and battleground quests. Quest givers within 6 map units of each other are grouped into one hub. For each gap, a hub counts only quests from 3 levels below the gap's start to 3 above its end. It's a floor, because Forever's ~1,000 new quests aren't in the data yet.
Hub, quest-giver and entrance positions are converted to world coordinates using the Forever map bounds. Each hub is scored by quest XP ÷ (1 + distance to the nearest pickup or entrance ÷ 1,500 yd). Crossing continents adds a 2,500 yd equivalent for the zeppelin. Capital cities count as transit stops, not anchors. Distances are straight-line, so flight paths make far Kalimdor hubs cheaper than they look.
Forever's new quests are added by hand as they're confirmed on forever-codex.com and Wowhead Forever. So far that's Chol'aruk the Ravener (6,150 XP, 3× a normal level-21 reward, a group cave), WANTED: Bruuz, and Wrongly Blamed, Justly Corrected. The last two are elite but pay normal XP. The Codex lists 1,800 new quest IDs, but only 57 have text so far.
Undead paladins have no trainer outside Tirisfal: Aramis Hammerhand in Deathknell, Shari Stilwell in Brill, Danitha Morr at Tyr's Watch in northwest Tirisfal, and Tanis Alderwood in the Undercity Trade Quarter. Beta players report that no paladin trainer is in Grommash Hold, even though the guards point there. Callouts mark the planned Undercity pickups where your paladin should train, and the three detours for the stretches that never come back.
Taken from each quest's shareable flag and its prerequisites in QuestieDB's Forever data, which is still Classic's for these quests. A shared quest is only accepted if your partner has already done its prerequisites, so every step of a chain has to be done by both of you. Compendium of the Fallen is Orc, Tauren and Troll only, so it's left out of the Undead route.
Solo: quest turn-ins cover 65% of each gap and kills cover 35%, the Classic rule of thumb for players questing alone. Duo: two players split each mob's XP with no group bonus (that starts at three), so kills cover about 21% and turn-ins have to cover about 79%. That's roughly 20% more quest XP per gap. Solo plans also leave out group-only quests like Chol'aruk and hide the one/both sharing tags. A gap shown in red has run out of level-appropriate quests; cover the rest by grinding or running the next dungeon a second time.
Travel time to Thunder Bluff and Undercity quest givers, reduced kill XP inside dungeons, group assembly without a Dungeon Finder, campfire rested XP and food XP buffs. All of these except travel push toward less questing.
